Layered began with a single observation made in a room full of people learning to move: the environment was doing as much work as the choreography.
Change the scent in the air, shift the tempo, alter the lighting — and the way people moved changed with it. After years of teaching sensual movement, Toni Scott began designing that relationship intentionally. What started as an observation became a methodology for shaping how people experience movement through sensation, atmosphere, and environment. That methodology became Layered.
